Important Appointment Reminders

  • If you must reschedule your appointment or adjust your cleaning order, please contact us as soon as possible.

To avoid a cancellation fee, please give us at least a 24 hour notice. If you need to adjust your cleaning order by either adding to it or reducing it, please contact us as soon as possible so we can allow appropriate time in our schedule.

  • Payment is normally required upon completion.

If we have authorized you to send us your payment, it is due upon receipt or within 30 days of your appointment.  After 30 days, a finance charge is computed by a periodic rate of 1.5% per month (21% annual) on any unpaid balance.

  • Acceptable payment methods.

We prefer payment by check.  All checks and payment should be made payable to Distinctive Cleaning & Restoration.  We do accept cash, however, we do not carry change.  We also accept all major credit cards with a 3% processing fee.

A $25 fee will be charged for any NSF and/or dishonored check.  All accounts if not paid as agreed are collectible with attorney fees, court costs and without relief from valuation or appeasement.  Let us know if you need a copy of our W-9 or certificate of insurance to set us up as a vendor and process payment.

Commercial Cleaning Preparation

  1.  Empty carpeted or hard surface areas that will be cleaned.

This includes movable furniture such as chairs, chair mats, trash cans, small tables, boxes and any personal items or papers.  These items can be placed on top of furniture that is not being moved or moved onto a hard surface area.  We can use our small hand tool to clean edges around or under large furniture that is not practical to move like large desks, book cases or file cabinets.

If we are cleaning furniture at your facility, please make sure the furniture is accessible and in an area that allows sufficient space for us to work.

  2.  Thoroughly vacuum and sweep carpet.

The more dry soil that is removed by pre-vacuuming and sweeping, the better your cleaning results will be.

  3.  Safety first.

Please avoid the areas where we are working to prevent slip and fall injuries on wet floors or tripping on hoses.  This will keep your employees as well as your customers safe.

Post Commercial Cleaning Drying Tips

  • Place wet floor signs where carpeted areas meet hard surface areas to alert employees and customers.
  • Set thermostat fan to ON to circulate air.
  • Set/override thermostat program to maintain 70-72 degree temperature during and after cleaning to speed up dry time.
  • If you have floor fans, set them out and we will turn them on once the cleaning is complete to help speed dry the carpet and flooring.
  • Allow 24 hours (or ensure carpet is 100% dry) before replacing plastic chair mats.
