We recently had our area rug cleaned by Distinctive Cleaning & Restoration and their service was phenomenol! Not only did they clean the rug superbly and get rid of pet orders, the rug looks cleaner than new! Their service was responsive and top notch. They communicated their services and estimate quickly, and were very responsive to questions. Drop off and pick up was a breeze! Highly recommend!

My mother has an oriental rug from Pakistan. It was originally my grandmother’s rug in Germany and has a lot of sentimental value to my mother. It was important to choose the right company to perform the cleaning and repair.

I was completely satisfied with the carpet cleaning services from Distinctive Cleaning and Restoration, and that's hard to say with carpet cleaning companies. (I've often heard reasons from other companies about why they can't do something with carpet cleaning, or they do the job quickly, and through the interactions, you can tell that the best effort wasn't given.) That's not true with my experience here. Distinctive prepared me for their visit thoroughly. The communication couldn't have been better. Alan was careful around the freshly painted trim and careful when cleaning the edges of the carpet, which can get so dusty. He gave his best effort with every room. I will be using them again and recommending them!

I recommend this company. Before I knew of this company I had to take my Orientals to Indianapolis to be cleaned properly, now Fort Wayne has Distinctive Cleaning & Restoration. Their specialized equipment combined with attention to detail and professionalism will give you the best possible treatment and results for your carpets. A member of our family works in a factory and neglected to take his shoes off before going up our stairs, hallway, and bedroom. I thought those black footprints would never come out! We had our carpet cleaned and spots in it from pet and they did a great job! We also had 3 wool rugs that had been pet abused cleaned and they look like new!
I highly recommend them for your cleaning needs. The price also reflects a in shop deep cleaning of our expensive wool rugs that had some pretty bad stains and odors from dogs.

I may be one of the pickiest people when it comes to cleanliness especially smells. Our cat had a few accidents on our brand new basement carpet which I was about ready to just tear up because I couldn’t get the smell out. I used Distinctive Cleaning to clean my carpet, upholstery and my epoxy garage floor. I see multiple reviews for carpet so I will share my experience for the upholstery and epoxy floor. Alan spent a lot of time on my sofa and chairs. Because we have dogs that enjoy spending time on the sofa, the dog hair was embedded into the fabric. It had been years since I had this sofa looked at. The dining chairs had multiple spots as well. I could tell that he really cared about getting everything clean. Our garage floor was also very dirty from the winter months. It looked so nice after the cleaning. Alan is very conscientious and meticulous. He cares about the work he does and wants to do a great job for his customers.

Distinctive Cleaning came out and cleaned my Aunt's carpet; what a beautiful job they did. And I'm not just saying that, I told Alan the carpet looked like new when they were done, and I seriously mean that! Stanley Steamer came out and did a shit job and told them to come back out and clean it again, they never cleaned around her dining room table. Distinctive came out and moved the table and cleaned the area. They didn't have to do that, and like I said it looked beautiful. I highly recommend them! They charged me less than Stanley Steamer and the job was 10 times better. They also took some rugs and oriental ones to the shop to clean them. I'm anxious to see how they come out! They are also going to clean her tile floor when they come back. Very satisfied and will post how the rugs come out!

From commercial cleaning (I met them as an employee at Joseph Decuis, Alan cleans the restaurant and Emporium). I’ve recommend them to friends with great success and finally got to personally use their services. Masterful job on short-ish notice. They do more than just carpets! Couch cushions and furniture, animal stain/odor remediation, and even heirloom rugs. Wonderful people doing wonderful work.

I'm thrilled that Distinctive Cleaning & Restoration used all their TLC to return it to like-new condition. They uniquely have huge equipment to shake years of dirt loose before cleaning and drying. Then, they transported the rug to a restoration specialist to even and secure the damaged fringe. Finally, I upgraded the padding (worth every penny). They are so pleasant and professional to work with. We hired them to clean the carpets at my place of employment, which by they the carpet was stained very badly and hadn't been cleaned in several years. Alan work all day on the floors getting the horrible stains out. Everyone in the building is amazed on how clean and good the carpet looks. He was never in the way of our employees and we couldn't be happier.

They are so pleasant and professional to work with. We hired them to clean the carpets at my place of employment, which by they the carpet was stained very badly and hadn't been cleaned in several years. Alan work all day on the floors getting the horrible stains out. Everyone in the building is amazed on how clean and good the carpet looks. He was never in the way of our employees and we couldn't be happier.

We were very happy with the results of the cleaning & spot removal they did on our basement carpet. They removed old pet stains & grime that had been present for years. We had considered just replacing the carpet but are so glad we chose to have it cleaned due to our son-in-law's recomendation based on the excellent results when they clean his restaurant's carpet. He removed paint & other art supplies, plant dirt, coffee stains, tea stains, blood, pet stains, mystery stains, and the general dirt that comes from a family living in a home. I have a fancy carpet cleaner and I've had other professional companies clean my carpet, but by far this is the most professional and complete service I have ever received. I have already scheduled my next carpet cleaning appointment with Distinctive Cleaning, and I will be a loyal customer going forward. Their courtesy, professionalism, and dedication to getting the job done right the first time is simply unparalleled.
Last year, Distinctive Cleaning provided water damage-related cleanup and repair for our basement when our sump pump died. Came home on Sunday afternoon (from an overnight trip) to water spewing into basement from a pipe that had come apart. Called several national franchises only able to leave a message. After an hour or so, having no call backs from those national franchises we were referred to Distinctive Cleaning and Restoration. Alan answered our emergency call right away. We told told him that we thought he could come in the morning as water damage seemed minimal and pipe had been put back together.
Alan asked for pictures which we sent. He immediately responded that he thought he should come out then (after 4. pm on a Sunday) to assess the situation.
His extremely thorough assessment identified water damage more extensive than we thought - , in 1/2 of living area, inside of bedroom (with some dampness along inside closet wall), entire bathroom and utility room. Approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of concrete floor in storage area had water.
They did immediate extraction, moved furniture, storage containers, cleaned carpet and flooring, they also removed some staining on carpets from where the water touched the finish on the furniture. Linoleum was cleaned, even moved the washer and dryer to clean underneath. They also removed all of the water soaked cardboard boxes.
Moved numerous items in storage area to dry location and extracted the water and cleaned the concrete.
Fans and heaters were placed throughout the 3 areas (living area, utility area and storage area)
Alan came back on Monday to check drying process and make adjustments to temperature and humidity. On Wednesday evening all was dry, the drying equipment was removed, carpet cleaned and all furniture, area rugs and "stuff" was put back in place.
The whole basement looked amazing, you would never know that there had been any kind of "water emergency"
They were extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and professional and so very personable. They answered all of our questions, even about drying the 200 year old family bible that had gotten wet. Thank goodness Alan answered our emergency call right away and made an immediate in home visit.
I am sure that I left out steps that he and his wife did to return our basement to better than normal. We know we had the very best. Thank you!

Our carpet is just a year old and was cleaned for the warranty but we were very impressed with the time and detail he took. We are absolutely thrilled with the couches and recliner. They are fifteen years old with the Eudora suede microfiber material and look and feel new. Alan got into every nook and gave it a thorough cleaning. We will definitely be using them next time and recommend highly. Thanks for the great work!
