Safety

• A pad will help keep your rug in place to prevent slip and fall injuries.  Pads are especially important to use for runners, as these move easily with foot traffic.

Comfort

• A pad will provide a more comfortable, luxurious feel underfoot, while keeping your room quieter and warmer.  Our pads are plush & extra dense at up to 36 oz./sq. yd.

Prevent Premature Wear

• A pad can prevent your rug from buckling or wrinkling, which will cause premature wear to your rug and decrease its life.  

Custom Sizing

• A one piece pad will be cut to custom fit to your rug up to 12 ft. wide. For pads over 12 ft. wide, two pieces of pad can be seamed together.

Washable

• We can clean your rug as well as your rug pad at the time of your service.

Protect Your Floors

• A pad will keep your rug in place, which will prevent it from scratching or marring your hard surface floors.  A pad will also prevent possible dye bleed from your rug to transfer to your hard surface or carpeted flooring.  The pad will not stain, discolor or mar your flooring.  Manufacturers of LVT (luxury vinyl tile) & LVP (luxury vinyl plank) caution against using latex or rubber pads because they can permanently discolor the flooring.

Extra Protection for Pet Owners

• Our rug pad has a moisture-resistant, non-skid backing that can protect your floors from pet accidents, by keeping spills & pet urine from soaking beneath the pad.  This will save you the expense of refinishing your hardwood floors or premature replacement of other flooring.  

Life of the Rug Warranty

• High quality recycled materials allow us to offer a “Life of the Rug” Warranty.  The rug pad is warrantied for the life of your rug against degradation of the fiber or backing.  The Pet Resistant backing is not warrantied against punctures or holes.  The backing may degrade in direct sunlight.  In high traffic areas, the pile thickness may change, so it is important to turn the pad with the rug as well as with cleaning to reduce this change.  For this reason, your rug pad can be considered an affordable investment and a one-time purchase to protect your flooring.

Sustainable

• Our rug pad is Green Label Plus Certified, having been made from recycled yarn and petroleum byproducts. This allows these products to be recycled and recyclable.  

Safe For Your Family

• Many manufacturers offer rug pads that contain a group of toxic chemicals that can negatively affect the air quality in your home and destroy your floors. Others use clay as a binder that degenerates quickly and causes damage to your flooring materials.  Our rug pad DOES NOT contain latex or toxic materials that can negatively affect indoor air quality, which means it has no odors and no off-gassing.
