Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) and Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) Cleaning Services in Fort Wayne
Benefits of Cleaning
LVT and LVP flooring are extremely popular with homeowners and business owners for good reason. They are both resilient, water resistant, easy to maintain, and look beautiful! Most of the time, this flooring is installed in high traffic areas such as living rooms, kitchens, hallways, and bathrooms. This requires daily sweeping and wet mopping with a neutral pH cleaner and microfiber mop several times per week.
While this flooring is fairly simple to maintain on a daily basis, over time, a build up of dirt and grime can lodge itself within the grooves and seams of the planks or tiles. This can be difficult to remove for the same reason it can be difficult to keep grout clean without using professional equipment – gravity is working against you! Using the incorrect cleaning products can also make these floors sticky, with a dirt attracting residue clinging to the surface.
Health – Contrary to popular belief, hard surface flooring is not maintenance-free and it still needs deep cleaning. Flooring can harbor bacteria on its surface, especially in and around bathrooms and if shoes are regularly worn across it. Learn more about what lives on the bottoms of our shoes here.
Appearance – A professional cleaning can drastically improve the look of your flooring, especially if it is in a high traffic area.
Longevity – Dirt and soils are abrasive and, over time, will affect the longevity of your flooring. A professional, deep cleaning will extract and remove deeply embedded dirt and soils, which will increase the life of your flooring.

Our LVT and LVP Cleaning Process
1. Apply Cleaning Solution to Freshly Swept Floors
Removing dry soil first will always result in a better cleaning. After that, we apply a safe and effective cleaning solution for your LVT or LVP flooring. The longer this solution can dwell on the flooring, the better its effect will be.
2. Agitate Cleaning Solution
A counter-rotating brush machine with soft bristles is used to agitate the entire surface to be cleaned. This will loosen any embedded dirt, soil or residue within the seams, planks, and grooves. The importance of this step cannot be overstated!
3. Rinse & Extract
Lastly, a hard surface floor tool is used to simultaneously rinse the cleaning solution and extract it, along with all of the dirt and soil previously found in the flooring.
